Background & Personal Life

As a Southern California native, Mark Grimaldi knows a thing or two about lifestyle. Mark enjoyed his formative years in the natural playground of California’s mountains and beaches which led to his passion for skiing, dividing his time between weekend ski trips to Mammoth Mountain and Big Bear resort. Mark studied at San Diego State University and moved to the Colorado Rocky Mountains in the mid 80’s, landing in the Vail Valley to pursue his passion for skiing as a Ski Pro for Vail Resorts. He also participated in International ski resort exchange programs, globetrotting in areas all over the world such as Switzerland, Austria, and Australia. Mark was a member/coach of the Vail/Beaver Creek Demo Ski team and along with the International marketing department for Vail Resorts were fixtures at the yearly London Ski Show during the 90’s. A career in resort real estate was a natural fit for Mark as he was known to his International network of clients and connections as a lifestyle consultant, sharing “off the beaten path” lifestyle and travel experiences.

Mark and his wife, Cheryl, currently reside in the Singletree area of Edwards on the Sonnenalp Resort Golf Course and are empty nesters. Their oldest son Max is going to College in Texas and younger son Luke is attending University of Oklahoma. When time allows a break from his busy schedule, Mark is an outdoor enthusiast and can be found skiing, mountain/road biking, and getting out in the wilderness.
